Sales Consultant / Appointment Maker

Established in 2003, we are now looking for two appointment makers to help us increase market share in the UK, Germany, Austria & Switzerland.

The Role
You will be making outbound calls following up leads given to you or self-generated leads for potential clients (Business to Business) to arrange a visit from one of our consultants. Typically, you will be speaking with HR, Learning & Development Managers and Senior Management (Decision Makers).
Responsibilities
- Calling potential client accounts
- Out-bound sales calls to leads provided via the web or other channels
- Making appointments and discussing prospects with founder
- Ensure all appointments are of a good quality and meet all criteria
- Keep up-to-date records of sales activity in a CRM system
- Produce accurate forecasts and pipeline information
- Research new leads and client’s business’s via web and other means
- Contribute as part of the team to new ideas, approaches or techniques for sales
- Keep up-to-date on relevant technologies and product and service offerings (From Client and Peter Gerlach International)
The Person
Ideally, we are looking for an experienced (not absolute necessary) appointment maker, either full time or part-time) who prefers to work independently, with flexible hours and who is interested in self-development. It could also suit a 2nd jobber.
Candidate
- Passion for people development
- Demonstrate a consultative sales approach at making appointments
- Good networker and relationship builder
- Positive, driven and can-do attitude
- Proactive
- Cold calling experience not absolutely necessary and a plus when have it
- Strong successful background & experience of telephone selling or telemarketing
- Ideally comes from a learning & development background
- Has already established good contacts in the learning & development industry
- First rate verbal and communication skills
- Gregarious and out-going
- Confident
- Enthusiastic
- PC literate in Word and Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ideally with German as a first or a second language
You can be based anywhere in the world with good written and verbal English. This is a home based role and suits someone who can work well independently, has excellent time management skills and can work autonomously. Support will be there when needed. The role also offers a lot of flexibility and may suit a person who has children and wants to earn money to fit around their schedule.
This is not a hard sell role and focuses very much on building long-term relationships
Full Training will be given.
Remuneration
Very good commission package on generated revenue. To be discussed at the interview.
Intensive coaching will be given which will benefit your role and also you as an individual.
